The Signing Ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) and the Institution of Engineering Malaysia (IEM) was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

YBrs. Tn. Muhammad Firdaus bin Shariff, representing the Mayor, signed the MoU with Ir. Professor Dr. Jeffrey Chiang Choong Luin, President of IEM. This strategic collaboration serves as a platform that unites the technical expertise of engineers with the city’s administrative vision, focusing on smart infrastructure, intelligent mobility and traffic management, green technology, and the advancement of engineering human capital.
