The ASEAN-Malaysia Statistical Forum (AMSF) 2025 was successfully held in Melaka, organized by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) in collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Institute of Statistics Malaysia (ISMy).
With the theme “Advancing ASEAN Through Inclusive Data and Innovation”, AMSF 2025 served as a significant platform bringing together policymakers, academicians, statisticians, and key stakeholders from across the region to strengthen the role of statistics in promoting inclusive and sustainable development.
The opening ceremony was officiated by YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, Chief Minister of Melaka, who also delivered an address highlighting the importance of data-driven innovation and collaboration in advancing ASEAN’s collective growth.
This forum was held in conjunction with the 15th Session of the ASEAN Community Statistical System (ACSS15), as part of the ASEAN-Malaysia Stats Week, underscoring Malaysia’s commitment to promoting evidence-based development and regional cooperation through statistics.
