Strategic Talks Highlight Melaka’s Readiness for Data Centre and Digital Economy Growth

A Data Centre Development Discussion Meeting was held with potential investors to explore strategic investment opportunities in the development of high technology data centres in Melaka. The discussion highlighted Melaka’s potential as a competitive and sustainable emerging digital hub, well positioned to support the growth of the digital economy and future technological demands.

The meeting was attended by Ts. Mohd Hafizam bin Mustaffa, General Manager, MCORP Technology; Mr. Amirul Asyraf, Manager (Free Industrial Zone & Investment Development Division), Invest Melaka; and Mr. Tharmendren, Assistant Project Manager (GTP), Perbadanan Melaka (MCORP). Discussions focused on the state’s investment ecosystem, including comprehensive infrastructure, strategic location, and continuous support from the State Government in attracting high value investments, further positioning Melaka as a preferred destination for the data centre industry in the region.
