Strategic Dialogue Explores Melaka Industrial Booster Initiative to Enhance Investment Journey

That was the focus of the Unlocking Regulatory Barriers: Melaka Industrial Policy & Business Facilitation Forum, featuring Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, YB Kerk Chee Yee, Deputy Speaker of the Malacca State Legislative Assembly, and Dato’ Tan Poh Seng, Honorary President of Federation of Malaysian Foundry & Engineering Industries Associations.

One thread was consistent: improving the ease of doing business requires more than policies. It also depends on effective coordination and clearer pathways. Initiatives such as the Melaka Industrial Booster (MIB) form part of this broader effort to enhance the investment journey.

The forum also provided manufacturers with an opportunity to share practical challenges while gaining greater clarity on existing facilitation mechanisms and future development priorities.
