Strengthening Melaka’s Multi-Sector Industrial Ecosystem

During the Regional Leadership in Aerospace and Industrial Growth Forum, Melaka also highlighted its strong and diverse industrial ecosystem that extends beyond aerospace.

For over five decades, Melaka has been a cornerstone of Malaysia’s electrical and electronics (E&E) and semiconductor industries, building a resilient employment base and high-skill talent network.

The state is also home to renowned Malaysian brands such as MAMEE, Oriental, Julies, and Pacific, alongside pharmaceutical innovators like Contra Pharma and Sepasoul — all forming part of Melaka’s multi-sector industrial clusters.

These clusters — encompassing Aerospace & MRO, Food Manufacturing, E&E, and Pharmaceuticals — are driving synergy through logistics, innovation, and workforce development.

 Melaka’s strength lies in its ability to integrate industries, creating shared growth and sustainability for Malaysia’s economy.
