Opening Ceremony of Chief Minister’s Industry Excellence Award (CMIEA) 2025

The Opening Ceremony of the Chief Minister’s Industry Excellence Award (CMIEA) 2025 Roadshow was successfully held on 17 June 2025 at the MITC Auditorium, Ayer Keroh. The event was officiated by the State Financial Officer of Melaka, YBhg. Datuk Wira Salhah binti Salleh. Also present were the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Melaka Berhad, YBhg. Datuk Ginie Lim Siew Lin, and the Senior Manager of the Southern Regional Office of MPC, Puan Azimah binti Adnan.

CMIEA makes its return after a decade, initiated by the Melaka State Government in collaboration with Perbadanan Melaka (MCORP), Invest Melaka Berhad, and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). The roadshow serves as an important platform to reintroduce this prestigious award to industry players in Melaka and encourage participation among local companies.

More than 50 companies attended the briefing session, and the submission deadline is set for 31 July 2025. The award ceremony is expected to take place in November 2025, featuring five main categories: Anugerah Ketua Menteri, Anugerah Kecemerlangan Sektor Pembuatan, Anugerah Kecemerlangan Perkhidmatan, Anugerah Kecemerlangan Paling Menjanjikan and Anugerah Kecemerlangan Kategori Terbuka.
