Official Launch of Medivest Sdn Bhd’s New Clinical Waste Disposal Plant

The Official Launch of Medivest Sdn Bhd’s New Clinical Waste Disposal Plant took place at the Bukit Rambai Industrial Area, Melaka. The ceremony was officiated by Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, and attended by Senior EXCO for Housing, Local Government, Drainage, Climate Change and Disaster Management, Datuk Rais Yasin, Chief Executive Officer of Medivest Sdn Bhd, Ts. Abdullah Hashim, and Chief Executive Officer of Invest Melaka Berhad, YBhg. Datuk Ginie Lim.

The new RM30 million facility is capable of disposing up to 20 metric tonnes of clinical waste daily and serves as a platform for technology transfer through training and expertise exposure for local talent. This development also creates over 100 job opportunities, contributing to the growth of the local economy, particularly for the Bukit Rambai community.
