MoF and Invest Melaka Visit Cheng Industrial Leaders

Two companies, two different sides of Melaka’s manufacturing landscape.

The Ministry of Finance’s Melaka State Tour also brought YB Tuan Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, to Taman Teknologi Cheng for visits to Impressive Edge Sdn. Bhd. and Xepa-Soul Pattinson (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

At Impressive Edge, Mr Yeo Cheng Por welcomed the delegation and shared about the company’s precision engineering and tooling capabilities supporting high-technology industries, including semiconductors and electronics.

The delegation then visited Xepa-Soul Pattinson, where Mr Ch’ng Kien Peng, Executive Director of Xepa-Soul Pattinson (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., shared about the company’s pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

Beyond the products and processes, the visits brought attention to the companies’ capabilities and business needs that support their continued operations in Melaka.
