MITI & Agencies Networking Ceremony

On 12 February, the MITI & Agencies Networking Ceremony was organised in conjunction with the 2026 Chinese New Year Celebration by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), aimed at strengthening ties and enhancing strategic collaboration between the ministry, agencies and industry players.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, YB Tuan Sim Tze Tzin; Secretary General of MITI, Dato’ Hairil Yahri Yaacob; Deputy Secretary General (Industry), Datuk Hanafi Sakri; Deputy Secretary General (Investment and Management), Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil; as well as President of Malaysian Semiconductor Industry Association, Dato Seri Wong Siew Hai; CEO of Invest Melaka Berhad, Datuk Ginie Lim, together with representatives from various agencies and industry stakeholders.

The gathering provided a valuable platform to reinforce cooperation, foster unity and strengthen synergy among key stakeholders in advancing Malaysia’s investment, trade and industrial agenda.
