Radium Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Manipal University College Malaysia (MUCM) at MUCM’s campus in Melaka. This strategic collaboration focuses on clinical training, research, and healthcare education, while also supporting the development of Radium Hospital @ Ayer Keroh – a 140-bed medical facility scheduled to begin operations in 2028. The MoU signing was formalised by Datuk Gary Gan, Managing Director of Radium Group, and Mr. Gaurav Rekhi, Chief Operating Officer of MUCM, and witnessed by academic representatives, healthcare industry players, partners, and members of the media.
This partnership reflects the commitment of both parties to develop healthcare talent, strengthen research, and enhance community wellbeing in Melaka and the surrounding region. Also present at this historic event was Datuk Ginie Lim, Chief Executive Officer Invest Melaka Berhad, who fully supports this initiative as an important step towards strengthening the healthcare system in Melaka.
