Meeting with the Delegation from Yunnan, China

Datuk Ginnie Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Melaka Berhad, led an official meeting with the delegation from Yunnan, China, held at the Hang Kasturi Meeting Room, Level 2, Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

The Yunnan delegation was led by Mr. Tuo Zhenguo, a Level II Bureau Rank Official from the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province, along with Mr. Liu Jie, Deputy Director of the Lancang-Mekong Subregional Economic Cooperation & Trade Development Center, accompanied by 13 other delegates. Also present were representatives from the Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall, including Mr. Lee Steven (Secretary General), Mr. Goh Daniel (Head of International Trade), and Mr. Hoo Ryan (Member of International Trade). The meeting focused on exploring strategic collaboration between Melaka and Yunnan, particularly in identifying new investment opportunities in Melaka, especially in the food and beverages sector and halal hub products.
