Invest Melaka Strengthens Industry Connections at SEMICON Southeast Asia 2026

Away from the main stage, Day 1 at SEMICON Southeast Asia 2026 played out across the exhibition floor.

CEO of Invest Melaka, Datuk Ginie Lim, together with YB Datuk Khaidhirah binti Abu Zahar, Deputy EXCO for Investment, Industry, and TVET Development, moved through a series of engagements throughout the day.

From the MIDA booth to visits at CCTech and ViTrox, each stop offered a different window into how companies are progressing and where attention is being placed.

As the day unfolded, these engagements carried into the Handshake session@Semicon organised by Malaysian Investment Development Authority bringing together global industry players and government agencies in a more focused setting where conversations move quickly from introductions to opportunities.

Seen across different touchpoints, the same priorities continue to surface, where capability, scale, and readiness are already being put into motion.
