Invest Melaka Facilitates Knowledge Transfer to Boost Local Industrial Skills

1 April 2026

As manufacturing operations expand, companies are increasingly placing equal focus on building the right workforce to support their growth.

This formed part of the discussion between Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, and Mr Li Gong, Vice General Manager of Lianjia Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., whose Malaysian operations are carried out through LINKA TECH (Melaka) Sdn Bhd.

A precision machinery company within the aviation sector, LINKA TECH is strengthening its presence in Melaka as it scales its production capabilities. Alongside this growth, the company is prioritising the development of skilled talent, particularly in operating specialised industrial machinery.

To support this, plans are in place to recruit and train local talent, complemented by experienced trainers from Suzhou to facilitate knowledge transfer and accelerate workforce readiness.

From talent matching through TVET institutions to supporting project facilitation processes, Invest Melaka continues to work closely with companies to support their operational needs.

As industries move towards more advanced manufacturing, aligning talent development with industrial growth will remain an important priority for Melaka.
