Invest Melaka Eyes New Semiconductor Facility

Invest Melaka Berhad (IMB) recently hosted a potential investor for a discussion on the proposed investment in Melaka.

The meeting, chaired by YBhg. Datuk Ginie Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Melaka, focused on the proposed establishment of a semiconductor testing interface products and precision manufacturing facility in the state.

Following the discussion, the delegation proceeded with site visits to two shortlisted industrial properties at Taman Perindustrian Tasik Utama and Kawasan Perindustrian Ayer Keroh to assess their suitability for the proposed investment.

Invest Melaka remains committed to supporting potential investors in exploring Melaka as a strategic location for their expansion and strengthening the state’s position as a preferred destination for high-value semiconductor investments.
