Invest Melaka continues to support the growth of high-value industries across the state through close engagement with local industry players.
On 11 February, Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, conducted visits to Intotest Sdn Bhd and The Tree Fruit Industries Sdn Bhd, where the No Objection Letter (NOL) was officially handed over to Mr Ang Chye Thiam, COO of Intotest, and Mr Ng Ong Yau, Executive Director of The Tree Fruit Industries.
Intotest Sdn Bhd, established in 1996, plays a key role in Melaka’s semiconductor ecosystem, specialising in automated semiconductor testing and taping equipment. As Malaysia contributes approximately 13% of the global semiconductor testing and packaging market, companies like Intotest strengthen Melaka’s position in backend automation and advanced manufacturing. Its presence complements the state’s expanding semiconductor assembly, including recent investments such as ATX Group’s Melaka facility.
Meanwhile, The Tree Food Industries Sdn Bhd represents the strength of Melaka’s agro-food and halal manufacturing ecosystem. The state’s Halal Hub hosts over 100 halal-certified firms, supported by ready-built factory concepts and SME industrial areas, positioning Melaka as one of the most organised halal clusters in Malaysia.
Through continuous industry engagement, Invest Melaka remains committed to support local companies that drive sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness for the state.
