Melaka’s investment direction found common ground with Yangzhou’s experience in technology-driven industries.
Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, met with Mr. Yang Bin, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Development Corporation (YZETDZ) to explore areas of mutual interest in investment and industrial development.
With YZETDZ’s strong base in semiconductors, electronics and advanced manufacturing, the discussion connected closely with Melaka’s own investment facilitation approach and the state’s semiconductor strategic plan.
One example is the German Technology Park, a new initiative aimed at attracting technology-intensive companies and expanding Melaka’s industrial base.
As both regions continue to develop, there is opportunity to explore stronger connections between their respective industries communities.
