Industrial Cluster Development Initiative in the Central Region

WORKING GROUP SESSION – INDUSTRIAL CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE IN THE CENTRAL REGION

29 March 2025 – The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Headquarters hosted the first working group discussion session for the Industrial Cluster Development Initiative in the Central Region. The session, held at MIDA Sentral, aimed to deliberate on strategies and collaborative programmes for the development of four (4) key industrial sectors: Electrical & Electronics (E&E), Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, and Food Manufacturing Technology in the Central Region.

The discussion was attended by YBhg. Datuk Ginie Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Melaka Berhad; Puan Umi Nadzirah binti Sumar, Assistant Director of MIDA Melaka; and En. Amirul Aizat bin Abu Bakar, Assistant Manager of MHTP MCORP.

Also present were representatives from Invest Negeri Sembilan, Invest Selangor, the Federal Territories Department, as well as MIDA Negeri Sembilan and MIDA Selangor.
