Green Infra and Halal Hub 2.0 Drive Melaka-Dutch Dialogue

8 July 2026

A clearer understanding of an investment destination comes from seeing how its industries, initiatives and businesses continue to develop.

That was the focus of the engagement between Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, H.E. Jaap Werner, Ambassador, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Mr Marco Winter, Executive Director, Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC).

The dialogue provided insights into Melaka’s industrial direction, including sharing from PDG Property on Melaka Halal Hub 2.0 and Perbadanan Teknologi Hijau Melaka on green infrastructure development. This follows with a networking lunch with representatives from Possehl Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., Intotest, and Tanjung Bruas Port, where industry perspectives and business experiences were exchanged.

The program concluded with visits to MFS Technology (Malaysia) and Texas Instruments, offering a closer look at Melaka’s manufacturing capabilities and industrial strengths.

Through continued exchanges with international partners and industry players, Melaka continues to showcase the opportunities and capabilities that support its future development.
