German Firm FENECON Explores Investment in Melaka

13 July 2026

Following FENECON’s initial visit to Melaka, the latest engagement marked another step in exploring the company’s future plans and potential presence in the state.

Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, welcomed FENECON CEO Mr Thomas Goesswein and the delegation for further discussions, including opportunities surrounding German Technology Park (GTP).

This includes a visit to SH Stainless Steel, offering a closer look at Melaka’s manufacturing capabilities and ecosystem that supports business growth.

Beyond evaluating a project site, understanding the surrounding industries and supply chain is equally important when assessing a new investment destination.

As Melaka continues to strengthen its industrial base, engagements like these reflect how established manufacturing capabilities can support the growth of emerging industries.
