INVEST MALAYSIA 2026 | From Reform to Execution: Malaysia’s Next Leap
Invest Malaysia 2026 was officiated by Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, bringing together policymakers, corporates and investors to discuss Malaysia’s investment direction and capital market outlook.
The event featured 61 Malaysian listed companies with a combined market capitalisation of over RM1.051 trillion, alongside more than 1,500 delegates from across the investment community, reflecting the breadth of participation across both public and private segments, with Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, also in attendance.
Against this backdrop, recent investment performance, including RM426.7 billion in approved investments in 2025, was highlighted alongside growing momentum in sectors such as digital infrastructure, semiconductors, energy transition and the data economy.
Taken together, these developments point towards Malaysia’s continued focus on strengthening its position in higher-value segments, where competitiveness is increasingly driven by quality and execution.
The event also saw participation from distinguished Cabinet members including the Minister of Finance II, Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan, Minister of Economy, Dato’ Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Datuk Seri Dr. Hannah Yeoh.
