Invest Melaka welcomed the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO Malaysia) for a courtesy visit, held in conjunction with the upcoming MyAero Summit 2026.
The discussion was led by Datuk Ginie Lim, CEO of Invest Melaka, and Mr. Mohd Sazali Mohamed Amin, Vice President, Corporate Services, NAICO Malaysia.
During the session, NAICO shared insights into the objectives of the summit and its ongoing MyAERO initiatives, including efforts to strengthen industry engagement and talent development within Malaysia’s aerospace ecosystem.
Under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030), Malaysia has set ambitious aerospace targets, including achieving RM55.2 billion in annual industry revenue and creating over 32,000 high-income skilled jobs by 2030. As the industry evolves rapidly, the need for stronger coordination among agencies and ecosystem players becomes increasingly important.
For Melaka, where companies such as CTRM Aero Composites contribute to advanced aerospace manufacturing, continued dialogue are essential to enhancing industry capabilities.
Invest Melaka remains committed to facilitating constructive engagements that support national aspirations within Malaysia’s evolving aerospace landscape.
