Invest Melaka Berhad (IMB) serves as the investment promotion agency for the State of Malacca, entrusted with the responsibility of attracting and securing all direct investments, whether from local or foreign businesses. IMB acts as both a mediator and coordinator, facilitating potential investors in fulfilling applications in collaboration with local authorities. In 2023, Invest Melaka successfully launched the MIB in collaboration with local authorities, aiming to expedite business requirements. Additionally, IMB functions as a Free Trade Zone Authority, overseeing activities and providing facilities and infrastructure in the designated area known as the Free Trade Zone (FTZ).
